Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead the on-site electrical team on our utility-scale projects. You will ensure build activities align with design, schedule, and safety standards.

You will mentor a team of electrical superintendents, coordinate with vendors and the project management team, review drawings, manage permits, and drive progress reporting to owners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC standards and basic electrical theory.
• Experience with means and methods of electrical activities including installation and testing.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies between drawings and installations.
• Understanding of construction scheduling and critical path.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and electrical safety practices (arc flash, LOTO).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Coordinate activities to keep electrical subcontractors on schedule and address risks.
• Produce daily reports and participate in meetings to communicate progress.
• Review engineering drawings for compliance with approved design.
• Coordinate material delivery and address potential delays with the project team.
• Foster a safety-first culture on site with subcontractors.
• Review and sign off on permits and safety procedures (JSA/JHA).
• Oversee installation, testing, LOTO, and energization procedures.
