Job summary

CoVolt Power in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Civil Superintendent to lead the civil self-perform team on large-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will mentor construction managers, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive safety, quality, schedule, and budget across sites.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, 10+ years of self-perform civil leadership, OSHA 30 and SWPPP training, and frequent travel (≈75%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of self-perform civil leadership experience.
• OSHA 30
• First Aid/CPR
• SWPPP Training

Responsibilities

• The General Superintendent (Civil) has oversight responsibility for civil self-perform team management and Sub-Contract performance across a portfolio of projects.
• Mentor civil self-perform Construction Managers, ACM's, Superintendents, and other high potential talent.
• Drive civil self-perform and sub-contracted site’s project execution of productivity, cost, and schedule.
• Develop coaching and training opportunities for civil self-perform teams.
• Attend project status meetings with project team and Client.
