Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead the electrical team on field projects, ensuring work aligns with the owner’s contract and project schedule. The role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings, and maintaining safety standards across the site.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical theory, NEC standards, and construction scheduling, with proven leadership experience on large EPC solar/BESS projects.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory and NEC standards.
• Experience with means and methods of electrical activities including trenching, installation, terminations, and testing.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies between drawings and installations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Supervise and coordinate team activities to ensure scheduling alignment with electrical subcontractors.
• Track progress and communicate with project team and owners through reports and meetings.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with approved design.
• Coordinate material delivery and anticipate delays with project team.
• Promote safety culture on site and with subcontractors.
• Review and sign off on permits (excavation, hot work) and ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee installation, testing, LOTO, and energization of electrical equipment.
