Gilbane is seeking a Senior General Superintendent to oversee all field work on a major project in Buffalo, NY. You will lead a large team of superintendents, ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality, and drive customer satisfaction on a daily basis on site.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with owners and trade contractors, and implement safety and quality plans as part of Gilbane’s operating excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 15+ years of experience on a $100 million+ site/civil construction project or multiple projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certified
• STS-C Certification
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates Gilbane’s trade contractors and their sub-contractors, to ensure high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule.
• Supervises and develops the project team.
• Manages the project budget for general conditions and Next 150/Site Services.
• Develops, documents, and communicates the work plan regarding changes made in the field.
• Leads site walks with the owner, architect/engineer, and financial institutions to show construction progress.
