Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Senior General Superintendent to lead field operations on a major project in Albany, NY. You will oversee a large team of superintendents, drive safety, schedule, budget, and quality, and ensure client satisfaction on a daily basis.

The role requires strong leadership, deep construction knowledge, and a proven track record managing complex site activities with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 15+ years on a $100M+ site/civil project or multiple superintendent roles mandatory.
• OSHA 30-hour certified.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates trade contractors to meet the approved project schedule.
• Supervises and develops the project team.
• Manages the project budget for general conditions and Site Services.
• Develops and communicates field work plans for changes.
• Leads site walks with owner, architect/engineer, and lenders.
