Job summary

Gilbane Building Co. is seeking a Senior General Superintendent II to manage field operations on one or more large projects.

This role is on the job site daily and requires leadership of a toptier project team, with accountability for safety, schedule, and budget performance. The ideal candidate brings a track record of directing multi-trade crews, coordinating with owners and design professionals, and driving project success on complex commercial or industrial builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 15+ years in commercial/industrial construction with lead superintendent experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent.
• STS-C Certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates field operations on large projects.
• Manages project budget and schedule, including general conditions.
• Leads safety programs and enforces safety policies on site.
• Coordinates with owners, architects/engineers, and trades to resolve issues.
