Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is recruiting for a field supervision role in New Albany, OH. The position oversees subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders, coordinating and directing subcontractor management staff on site.

Responsibilities include ensuring schedules align with plans, maintaining safety and QA/QC standards, and coordinating with client representatives.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities of Bechtel, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives and others as may be assigned within area of responsibility.
• Establishes, coordinates and implements construction schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Controls jobsite expenditures in assigned area for labor, equipment, material and services and ensures field operations are within budget.
• Responsible for overall supervision of personnel in assigned area of responsibility.
• Maintains relationships with the client and their representatives, as assigned.
• Ensures that Bechtel and local/national regulatory safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with in assigned area of responsibility.
• Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.
• Performs general administrative functions inherent in jobsite supervisory positions.
• Ensures corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented.
• Provides back-up support to the Field Superintendent and/or Field Construction Manager.
