Job summary

Bechtel is hiring in New Albany, Ohio to oversee planning, safety, quality and technical activities on a complex project with many stakeholders. You will coordinate subcontractor management and ensure work aligns with the master schedule.

Leading multidisciplinary teams, you will enforce safety, conduct training, manage time records, and ensure conformance with drawings, specs and vendor requirements in a high-visibility fabrication plant environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 5–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience on large-scale industrial or M&T construction projects with architectural scope.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cost, schedule and optimize craft labor and maintain the construction schedule.
• Inspect site for unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Coordinate safety training with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
• Champion the ZERO Accident Philosophy and ensure compliance with safety codes.
• Monitor activities of craft to ensure compliance with specs and schedules.
• Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for recruitment and training.
• Review craft time records using automated tools.
• Oversee installation of materials to meet drawings and vendor requirements.
• Enforce field construction policies, procedures and work rules.
