Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Superintendent - New Installation to lead a team of 12-20 technicians and manage installation projects from planning through handover. You will enforce safety and quality standards, coordinate schedules, and ensure timely delivery while collaborating with sales and project management teams.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with experience in the elevator industry and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent in relevant field.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage sensitive employee relations with proven leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a high-performing, safe team of 12-20 field technicians by enforcing company quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate daily project schedules, job site readiness walkthroughs, parts/material ordering, and payroll accuracy.
• Monitor installation progress and drive efficiency through consistent site visits and communication.
• Manage manpower levels in partnership with union representatives, resolving employee relations and staffing issues.
• Support sales and project management teams with bid estimates, job progress meetings, and complaint resolution.
• Ensure all installation projects meet contractual, company, and safety requirements.
