Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer to architect Cloud and Managed Services (CMS) and hybrid colocation solutions for new logo customers. You will support national sales with technical drawings and business impact narratives.

You will design complex CMS/Hybrid solutions, stay current on industry trends, and provide documentation for handover to implementation teams. Travel may be required for customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in industry relevant sales, consulting and/or sales engineering.
• Ability to design & explain solutions to both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect Cloud and Managed Services solutions including Colocation (Hybrid) for new logo customers.
• Provide technical drawings and designs to support CMS Solutions and business impact narratives.
• Create complete CMS/Hybrid solution designs and present solutions to potential customers.
• Stay current on product offerings and industry trends and technologies.
