Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Service Technician to deliver superior customer service by repairing Renewal by Andersen products in customers' homes. This field-based role uses a company vehicle and may require a motor vehicle record check.

You will diagnose issues, communicate with homeowners, maintain inventory, and ensure installations meet quality standards while supporting the team with flexible duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of window installation experience is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of basic construction techniques and building materials.
• Strong problem-solving, math, and basic computer skills (Word/Excel).
• Effective communication and ability to handle confrontations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair Renewal by Andersen products in customers' homes.
• Analyze situations, determine corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
• Keep team informed of customer interactions and resolutions.
• Provide accurate part descriptions and part numbers to Service RSR.
• Maintain vehicle, inventory, and tool readiness.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Assist with installation issues and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
