Job summary

K Group Companies in Burnsville, MN, seeks a Field Service Technician Level II to lead installation teams, configure and program devices, and oversee system commissioning. You will train customers at a basic operations level and ensure top-notch service delivery.

The role requires hands-on field experience, knowledge of fire, CCTV, nurse call, and security systems, plus leadership abilities to mentor junior installers and coordinate with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years with a previous construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer roles and responsibilities with quality documentation.
• Manage project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Lead and delegate tasks within the team to ensure results.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and gather feedback for improvement.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
