Job summary

Eaton’s CPS Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician based in the greater Portland, OR area. This remote role from a home office requires daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays, with a company vehicle provided.

You will provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start‑up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability, earning a salary between $69,000 and $101,000 per year with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer sites with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to customers.
• Perform emergency repairs to maintain uptime.
• Conduct start-up services for new or repaired systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
