Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Technician Level III to perform advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment at customer sites. You will analyze failures, determine root causes, and lead senior technical efforts while mentoring junior technicians and coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in power distribution systems preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or field service roles preferred.
• Experience with switchgear start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install, modify, inspect, and support electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities and coordinate with project teams.
• Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control wiring, networking equipment in the field.
• Document service activities, root‑cause analysis, and follow‑up items accurately.
• Provide mentoring and on‑the‑job training to Level I/II technicians.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with customers, PMs, and internal teams.
