Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for the U.S. Federal Government Markets Division.

The role involves on-site and remote upgrades, troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems, networking, and security-focused responsibilities within a dynamic team environment. You will engage with customers and cross-functional teams, requiring strong communication skills, AD administration knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 75–80% and obtain necessary security

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
• Willingness to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification within first 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Maintain, optimize, test and document complex communications systems; provide weekly activity reports.
