Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to support Blue Ash, Ohio area clients. You will lead Level I installations, configure and program devices, and oversee commissioning and training for customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on field work, and collaboration with project teams. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction trades, strong electrical knowledge, and experience with nurse call, CCTV, or access systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, VoIP).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Previous experience with fire, CCTV, intrusion, or nurse call systems (1+ year).
• Must have valid US Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities per documentation.
• Lead and mentor Level 1 installers and foster collaboration.
• Communicate with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers and customers as needed.
• Configure and program devices and management platforms; oversee system commissioning.
• Perform FAT testing of products before installation; ensure quality standards.
• Provide client training at basic operations level; ensure successful installations.
