Job summary

K Group Companies in Ohio is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to advance installations, configure devices, and lead project teams across our market. You will perform FAT testing, system commissioning, and deliver customer training at a basic operations level with a focus on quality and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in construction trades, strong electrical knowledge, TCP/IP networking, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade or field installation.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on field experience with projects.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with service ticketing processes.
• Familiarity with fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer responsibilities following documentation.
• Lead installation teams; delegate tasks and mentor Level 1 installers.
• Manage project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Coordinate with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
• Configure and program devices and management platforms; ship FATs.
• Commission systems and provide basic client training.
• Ensure high quality, reliable, and fully operational solutions.
• Be flexible to take on additional duties as needed.
