Job summary

K Group Companies in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to lead installations, configure devices, and train customers. You’ll supervise Level 1 installers, manage tickets, and coordinate with project teams to ensure successful, quality executions.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in construction, strong electrical and networking knowledge, and leadership experience. A US driver’s license is required. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on field experience from previous work.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge: TCP/IP, general networking, VoIP.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Valid US Driver’s license.
• Experience completing projects within scope and service tickets.
• 1+ year of experience with fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities, following documentation to uphold high standards.
• Demonstrate organizational skills handling project and service tickets with prompt updates.
• Exhibit understanding of project scopes and service expectations, taking ownership of tasks.
• Lead and delegate tasks within the team to foster growth and productivity.
• Mentor Level 1 installers when leading a team, seeking feedback for improvement.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers as needed.
• Show expertise with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance products.
• Pursue ongoing professional development focusing on leadership and communication.
• Perform FAT testing of products before installation to ensure quality.
• Configure systems and commission them to deliver reliable, fully operational solutions.
• Willingly accept additional duties as required.
