Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to lead advanced diagnostics and complex vehicle repairs in service centers and during field operations. You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and tackle high-voltage and network fault diagnostics using specialized tools.

The role requires strong leadership, flexibility for remote locations or production plants, and a proven track record in continuous improvement of repair workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent preferred. Automotive repair schooling preferred.
• 5–8+ years automotive repair experience with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years working on High Voltage systems and HV diagnostics.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and field sites.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians and partners; lead problem-solving.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools to resolve electrical, HV, and network faults.
• Document findings and provide feedback to engineering and field teams.
