Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Field Services Technician to execute on-site and workshop tasks, providing technical direction and leadership during installation, startup, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of customer-owned facilities. You will plan outages, supervise skilled workers, troubleshoot HV equipment, and generate reports, while maintaining safety and cost controls.

Requires 3+ years in HV electrical roles, strong communication, and proficiency with standard office software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HV experience in field service or related roles.
• Familiar with test equipment and testing procedures.
• Excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical direction during installation, startup, commissioning and maintenance.
• Lead skilled labor on customer sites and coordinate field activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical systems and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Prepare job planning documents and maintain timely, thorough reports and quotations.
