Based primarily at a service center, it may involve travel to remote locations, plants, or mobile routes to provide advanced field support.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of automotive repair experience
• 3 to 8+ years of hands-on HV (high voltage) systems experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience (Shop Foreman/Team Lead) preferred
• Experience in continuous improvement and escalation management

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, repairs, installations, and inspections in service centers and field settings
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote diagnostics/repairs using vehicle data and schematics
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and foster cross-functional collaboration
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools (PICO-Scope, PCAN, Kavaser) to resolve complex electrical and HV faults
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and drive standardization across workflows
• Oversee parts operations including ordering, receiving, inventory, and billing
• Produce documentation and feedback to engineering and field service leadership
• Engage professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams during escalations
