Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader in supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. Based primarily at a service center, the role may involve remote work, travel to remote locations, or work at production plants to provide advanced field support as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program preferred.
• Minimum age 21 with valid driver’s license and clean record.
• 5–8+ years automotive repair experience with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting for field teams.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians; drive cross-functional collaboration.
