Job summary

Enerflex Ltd in Odessa, TX is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician (CC-Odessa) to maintain, troubleshoot, install and commission gas compressor packages, both gas-fired and electric-driven, under general guidance.

You will lead and train junior technicians, perform advanced engine tuning and electrical control work, and respond to on-site service needs while upholding health, safety, and environmental policies. This role is based in Odessa with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with advanced vocational/technical training.
• 10+ years of applicable field experience.
• CAT/Waukesha certifications listed (CAT Gas I/II, CAT Electrical, Ariel Basic/Mechanical, CAT 3500 ADEM III, CAT 3600 ADEM III, CAT 3600 Master Mechanic, CAT Failure Analysis, Waukesha 9390).
• Willingness for on-call and emergency repairs.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines and controls in the field.
• Independently diagnose engine/compressor failures.
• Install, commission and start-up new units with no supervision.
• Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and panel work (Murphy, Altronic, Allen Bradley).
• Provide training to junior field technicians and coordinate job activities.
• Maintain safety policies and participate in on-call rotations.
