Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. in Pennsylvania seeks a Sr. Field Service Technician responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of gas compression packages both gas-fired and electric-driven. Lead and train junior technicians and ensure safety.

You will diagnose engine and compressor failures, perform rebuilds, and complete field reports, with on-call rotation and adherence to Enerflex safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with advanced vocational/technical training.
• 10+ years applicable experience.
• Certification proofs from CAT/Waukesha (or equivalent) including CAT Gas I, CAT Gas II, CAT Electrical, Ariel Basic, Ariel Mechanical, CAT 3500 ADEM III, CAT 3500 ULB, Waukesha VHP, CAT 3600 ADEM III, CAT 3600 Master Mechanic, CAT Failure Analysis, Waukesha 9390.
• Stay current on updated OEM model-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, timesheets, and paperwork daily.
• Lead and train junior Field Technicians.
• Independently diagnose engine and compressor failures and perform rebuilds/overhauls in the field.
• Install, commission, and start-up new units with no supervision.
• Perform mechanical inspection with micrometers and pressure gauges and use diagnostic equipment.
