Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. seeks a Sr. Field Service Technician in Texas to lead field maintenance, installation, and commissioning of gas compressor packages. You will diagnose, repair, and tune engines and controls, train junior technicians, and ensure safety compliance in the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with advanced vocational/technical training.
• 10+ years of applicable field experience.
• Certifications from CAT and Waukesha (or equivalent) including CAT Gas I/II, CAT Electrical, Ariel Basic/Mechanical, CAT 3500 ADEM III, CAT 3600 ADEM III, CAT 3600 Master Mechanic, CAT Failure Analysis, Waukesha 9390.
• Must stay current on updated OEM model-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls in the field under adverse conditions and without supervision.
• Independently install and commission new units with start-up inspections.
• Diagnose engine and compressor failures and perform advanced tuning for multiple OEMs.
• Provide input on personnel and material needs for optimal job planning.
• Lead training for junior Field Technicians and ensure safety compliance.
