Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. seeks a Sr. Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, installation, and commissioning of gas compression packages in the field. You will lead troubleshooting, rebuilds, and advanced electrical diagnostics while mentoring junior technicians in challenging environments.

Responsibilities include submitting daily reports, coordinating activities, and ensuring safety standards. A high school diploma, 10+ years’ experience, and CAT/Waukesha certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of applicable field service experience.
• Proof of CAT/Waukesha certifications listed in the posting.
• Stay current on updated OEM model-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally while providing outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, timesheets, and paperwork daily.
• Direct, coordinate, and perform job activities aligned with project goals.
• Provide leadership and training to new and junior Field Technicians.
• Diagnose engine and compressor failures independently and efficiently.
• Lead rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls in the field.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and control panels at an advanced level.
• Install, commission and start-up new units with minimal supervision.
• Perform mechanical inspection using micrometers and diagnostic equipment.
