Job summary

Enerflex Ltd is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of gas compression packages in the field. You will train junior techs, diagnose engine and compressor failures, and perform precise mechanical inspections using advanced tools.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and advanced vocational/technical training.
• Requires 10+ years of applicable experience.
• Certification proof from CAT/Waukesha (or equivalent) for listed exams.

Responsibilities

• Represent Enerflex professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Coordinate and perform job activities aligned with project goals.
• Lead and train new and junior Field Technicians.
• Independently diagnose engine and compressor failures.
• Provide input on personnel and material needs for planning.
• Lead rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls in the field.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and control panels to advanced level.
• Perform engine tuning for multiple OEMs (CAT/Waukesha).
• Respond to emergency repairs as needed.
• Lead installation, commissioning and start-up of new units with minimal supervision.
• Perform mechanical inspection using micrometers and diagnostic tools.
