Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. seeks an experienced Field Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, install, and commission gas compressor packages, both gas-fired and electric-driven, in the field.

You will learn from and lead junior technicians while delivering high-quality service in demanding environments. Responsibilities include directing activities to achieve project goals, diagnosing engine and control issues (Murphy, Altronic, Allen Bradley), performing engine tuning, and supporting emergency repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with advanced vocational/technical training.
• 10+ years of applicable experience.
• Proof of CAT/Waukesha certifications (Gas I/II, Electrical) and related OEM certificates.
• Current OEM training updates as required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Enerflex professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Lead and complete rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines and controls in the field.
• Independently install, commission, and start-up new units with no supervision.
• Diagnose engine/compressor failures and perform advanced electrical controls troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety compliance and health/environmental rules at all locations.
