Job summary

Enerflex Ltd in Texas is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to perform maintenance on gas compression packages, install and commission units, and lead field tasks with minimal supervision.

You will train junior technicians, diagnose engine and compressor failures, and coordinate field activities while ensuring safety and compliance with Enerflex policies. Must have CAT/Waukesha certifications and 10+ years of experience; travel to customer sites; on-call rotations; work in varied

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years applicable experience.
• Must have CAT/Waukesha certifications (CAT Gas I, II, Electrical; Ariel Basic/Mechanical; CAT 3500 ADEM III; CAT 3600 ADEM III; CAT 3600 Master Mechanic; CAT Failure Analysis; Waukesha 9390).
• Must stay current on updated OEM model specific training.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports and timesheets daily.
• Direct, coordinate and perform job activities aligned with project goals.
• Provide leadership and training to field technicians.
• Diagnose engine and compressor failures independently and efficiently.
• Lead rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines and controls in the field.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and control panels to an advanced level.
• Independently install new units, including commissioning and start-up inspections.
