Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Technician in Nashville, TN to assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of medium voltage equipment and related automation. The role requires strong customer rapport and regular communication with CRC, supervisors and managers.

The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergency calls, document timecards, and strive for first-time fixes while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with medium voltage switchgear and field service preferred.
• Reading electrical schematics/blueprints; understanding power control and automation.
• Background in electrical power including MV systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in start-up, commissioning, integration and emergency service for MV gear.
• Maintain rapport with customers and coordinate with CRC, supervisors and managers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and strive for first-time fixes.
• Document timecards and expense reports accurately.
• Drive continuous improvement and adhere to safety policies.
