Job summary

IEM, a leader in electrical distribution systems, seeks a Field Service Technician Level III in PIT, Pennsylvania. You will perform advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of IEM equipment with independence and strong judgment.

Travel up to 75% is required. You will mentor Level I/II technicians, document root causes, and coordinate with Project Managers, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve field issues and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution systems preferred.
3+ years related electrical, mechanical, technical, manufacturing, commissioning, or field service experience preferred.
2+ years experience supporting switchgear start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, or repair preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
Lead or support complex field service activities including high-priority customer issues and escalated technical concerns.
Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, PMs, and internal teams.
