Job summary

IEM is seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician Level III to perform advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment at customer sites. You will resolve complex technical issues, support critical engagements, and mentor junior technicians.

Vous will independently work with limited supervision, coordinating with project managers, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure safe, high-quality service and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution systems preferred.
• 3+ years of related electrical/field service experience preferred.
• 2+ years in switchgear start-up/commissioning/troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install and support electrical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities for high-priority issues.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, PMs, and internal teams.
• Document service activities, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and parts usage.
• Mentor Level I and II technicians as needed.
