Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in power distribution systems preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years related electrical, mechanical, technical, or field service experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years experience supporting switchgear start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, or related field service activities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install, modify, inspect, and support electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities and critical commissioning needs.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal teams.
• Document service activities, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up items.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Level I and II technicians.
