Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) is seeking a senior Field Service Technician Level III to perform advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment. You will resolve complex technical issues, support critical customer engagements, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution systems preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of related electrical/field service experience preferred.
• Experience supporting switchgear start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, or field service preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install, modify, inspect, and support electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities and escalated technical concerns.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, PMs, and internal teams.
• Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and determine corrective actions.
