Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Service Technician to perform fieldwork at customer sites and repair server systems. The role supports our global service network and aims to build a world-class field engineering organization with strong technical and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hardware repair, familiarity with servers, and the ability to work in a fast-paced datacenter environment. Travel up to 15 days per year is expected; flexibility for weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of debug, troubleshooting, or repair in hardware industry, preferably servers.
• Experience talking with customers and resolving conflicts.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in datacenter environments.

Responsibilities

• Work in a datacenter environment at customer sites.
• Provide on-premise field repair at customer facilities.
• Work flexible hours including weekends/holidays when needed.
• Identify root causes by working with customers and researching solutions.
• Escalate unresolved problems and drive fast resolutions.
