Enerflex Ltd in the United States is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to maintain and overhaul gas compressor packages in the field, installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting both gas-fired and electric-driven units.

You will lead and train junior technicians, diagnose engine and compressor failures, perform advanced engine tuning for multiple OEMs, and ensure safety and compliance on every site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with advanced vocational/technical training.
• 10+ years of applicable field experience.
• CAT/Waukesha certifications listed in the requirements; up-to-date OEM training.
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and installation capabilities across engines and compressors.

Responsabilités

• Represent the company professionally and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Direct, coordinate, and perform activities aligned with project goals.
• Provide leadership and training to new and junior Field Technicians.
• Independently diagnose engine and compressor failures.
• Lead rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls in the field.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and unit control panels to an advanced level.
• Perform engine tuning for multiple OEMs and ensure optimal performance.
• Independently lead installation, commissioning and startup inspections with no supervision.
• Perform mechanical inspection with micrometers and diagnostic equipment.
• Be on call and respond to emergency repairs; adhere to safety policies.
