Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to service power distribution and critical power infrastructure across customer sites in the United States.

This site-based role includes training, travel as needed, and collaboration with customers, electricians, and project teams. You’ll perform startup, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade/vocational certification or military training in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and understand AC/DC power concepts.
• Proven safety practices and adherence to safety programs and policies.
• 5+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS systems and related equipment.
• 5+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and MS Office.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modifications.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners and support teams.
• Complete field service reports and startup data sheets.
• Collaborate with managers to resolve escalated issues.
• Continuous learning and training on products and tools.
