Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader in supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role involves diagnostics, mentorship, and coordinating field support across service centers, mobile routes, and production plants as needed.

The position emphasizes high-voltage and network fault diagnostics, remote troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of repair processes, with opportunities to travel and work on advanced EV systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
Automotive repair school graduation preferred.
Must be 21+ with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs at service centers or field locations.
Provide high-level remote diagnostics and troubleshooting based on logged data.
Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians; lead problem-solving efforts.
Use advanced diagnostic tools to resolve electrical, HV, and network faults.
Conduct road tests and drive process improvements across workflows.
Oversee parts operations including ordering, inventory, and billing.
Document findings and provide feedback to engineers and leadership.
Interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
