Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Senior Field Engineer to supervise a small service center team and perform fieldwork across a designated area. You will lead field engineers, perform complex troubleshooting on electrical systems, and coordinate project work from start to finish.

You will estimate field work, prepare proposals, schedule tasks, write detailed reports, and manage billing. Travel up to 50%; international travel may be required to deliver critical power solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with BSEE/BSME and six years’ experience.
• NETA 3 Certification or equivalent experience.
• Alternative: Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent with nine years’ experience.
• High school education or equivalent with ten years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field service engineers and technicians in the area.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests and inspections on electrical systems.
• Lead large projects such as generator start-up and substation commissioning.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, scheduling, reports and billing.
• Interface with clients and participate in business development activities.
