Job summary

Vertiv seeks a senior field engineer to supervise field service teams, perform complex electrical testing, and lead large projects across designated regions. The role requires strong NEC/OSHA knowledge, travel up to 50%, and coordination with customers and engineers.

The successful candidate will develop tests, prepare detailed reports, and ensure timely billing and documentation while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with BSEE/BSME and six years' experience OR equivalent military/technical training with substantial field experience.
• NE TA 3 Certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train field service engineers and technicians.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and testing on electrical systems.
• Lead large projects such as generator tests and substation turnkeys.
• Develop tests and inspections for new field service areas.
• Prepare proposals, schedules, reports and billing.
