Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to supervise and support field service teams across the Dallas area and beyond. The role encompasses complex testing, commissioning of substations, and developing new field service capabilities while ensuring timely project delivery.

As part of the role, you will lead large-scale projects, perform estimates, manage fieldwork, and prepare detailed reports. Travel up to 50% is required, with primary duty stations at service centers in the region.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with BSEE or BSME and six years' experience.
• NETA 3 Certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and assist field service engineers and technicians.
• Perform complex troubleshooting on electrical apparatus and systems.
• Lead turnkey projects including generator tests and large substations commissioning.
• Develop tests and inspections in new field service areas.
• Prepare proposals, schedule fieldwork, and manage reports and invoicing.
• Write detailed project reports and ensure accurate billing.
