Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Field Service Representatives operate in a site-based U.S. role, performing assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment. Training on digital and physical tools is provided, with company vehicles, uniforms, devices, and laptops supplied for daily work.

The position is field-oriented with occasional nonstandard hours, a 40-hour base plus overtime, and regional travel may be required to support customers and projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational training in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC power and components.
• Experience with UPS, power distribution, ATS, PDU, and related equipment.
• 4+ years in field service repair and customer service.
• English proficiency for customer communication.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and company digital resources.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications.
• Solve problems with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical teams.
• Complete field service reports, expense logs, PMs, and startup data sheets.
• Collaborate with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Mentor others and pursue ongoing product training.
