Job summary

Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) seeks a Senior Field Service Representative to perform advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.

This role acts as a senior technical resource, resolving complex issues and supporting critical customer engagements in the field. You will mentor Field Service Technicians, coordinate with project teams, and document findings with precision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in power distribution systems preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years related electrical, mechanical, technical, manufacturing, commissioning, or field service experience.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong diagnostic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and PPE requirements.
• Able to communicate technical updates clearly to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install, modify, inspect, and support electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities for high-priority customer issues and commissioning needs.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal teams.
• Analyze system failures and determine corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control wiring, networking equipment, and related field service issues.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, manufacturing facilities, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Document service activities, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to Field Service Technicians and Representatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
