Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) in the United States seeks a Field Service Representative to perform start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service support for IEM equipment at customer sites.

You will diagnose moderately complex technical issues, document actions, and provide guidance to entry-level technicians while coordinating with project teams and customers. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution systems is preferred.
• 1+ year experience with switchgear start-up and commissioning is required.
• 1–3 years related electrical or mechanical field service experience preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Independently perform start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install and modify electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and determine corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot circuits, control wiring, and networking equipment.
• Document service activities, root causes, corrective actions, and follow-ups.
• Assist with training and mentoring Field Service Technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
