Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) seeks a Field Service Representative to perform start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service support for IEM equipment.

You will diagnose and resolve moderately complex issues in customer facilities, coordinating with PMs and internal teams while documenting all activities. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of switchgear start-up experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal

Qualificações

• Associates degree, vocational training, military experience or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience supporting switchgear start-up and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good verbal and written communication with customers, contractors, PMs and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Independently perform start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install and modify electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, PMs, and internal teams.
• Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and determine corrective actions for moderately complex issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control wiring, and networking equipment.
• Coordinate with PMs, manufacturing, engineering, or other internal teams to resolve issues in the field.
• Document service activities, root cause analysis, corrective actions, parts usage, and follow-up items.
• Assist with training, mentoring, or shadowing for Field Service Technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
