IEM is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service support for IEM equipment. The role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to resolve moderately complex technical issues with minimal supervision in field settings.

You will work with project teams, customers, and internal staff; travel up to 75% may be required to support customer sites, regional offices, and vendor locations.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in power distribution systems.
• 1+ years of experience supporting switchgear start-up and commissioning.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical docs.
• Experience in field service and working independently.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsabilidades

• Perform start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install and modify electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Attend project meetings and support coordination with stakeholders.
• Analyze failures and determine corrective actions for moderately complex issues.
• Troubleshoot circuits, control wiring, and networking equipment.
• Document service activities and root-cause analysis.
• Train and mentor Field Service Technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
