Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on field service with capital equipment.
• Experience with lasers, optical assemblies, servo systems, or robotics.
• Experience in installation/commissioning of semiconductor or similar capital equipment.
• Ability to create service documents and training materials.
• Passport and travel up to 35% may be required for international business travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and qualification of integrated wafer processing tools at customer sites (laser systems, robot handling, wafer cleaning, metrology).
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on capital equipment to minimize downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair on-site or remotely as needed.
• Verify final acceptance and release of products per criteria.
• Facilitate site audits prior to installation to meet system requirements.
• Prepare service reports, work orders, and knowledge-sharing documentation.
• Mentor and provide on-the-job guidance to junior Field Service Engineers.
• Develop and deliver technical training content for Field Service Engineers and customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to provide field feedback for design/process improvements.
• Ensure timely processing and invoicing of work orders and service calls; adhere to safety requirements.
