Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principle Field Service Engineer for a field-based role across multiple U.S. locations including Boston, Washington DC, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Nashville, Birmingham, Jacksonville or New Jersey.

The role, within Biosense Webster, involves installing, servicing and repairing cardiovascular equipment, traveling up to 60% domestically/internationally, mentoring staff, and delivering technical training while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Trade Certificate with preferably 4/6 years related work experience
• OR Associate degree with 6 years’ experience in Cardiology or Electrophysiology
• OR Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering/Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering with 6 years of hospital or field service experience

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to internal and external customers via the Call Center
• Manage installation, operation, repair and upgrades of equipment within the assigned territory
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain service records
• Coordinate with hospital staff and doctors to ensure customer satisfaction
• Travel 25%–75% and up to 60% domestically/internationally as needed
• Lead training for internal and external customers on products or systems
• Act as customer advocate and participate in incident investigations
• Maintain documentation in the Service Management System
