Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Principle Field Service Engineer to support installation, service and repair of biosense products across multiple U.S. sites including Pittsburgh and other major cities.

The role involves customer interactions, training, and field leadership in Cardiovascular solutions. Candidates should have 6+ years in biomedical field service or related clinical engineering, with a strong background in electrophysiology, cardiology or biomedical electronics.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Trade Certificate with preferably 4/6 years related work experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years’ experience in Cardiology or Electrophysiology (preferred).
• Associate degree with 6 years’ experience as a biomed in hospital environment or in medical related field service (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics/Electrical or Computer Engineering with 6 years of hospital or field service experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Technical Trainer for internal and external customers on assigned products or systems (Service Management Systems or similar).
• Participate as key department representative in new product preparation, product improvement initiatives, customer engagement or any matters as assigned.
• Gather data, feedback to manufacturers, analyze data, identify trends, identify root cause, provide remedial actions, devise and implement plans to improve product performance and improve customer satisfaction.
