Job summary
Johnson & Johnson Biosense Webster is seeking a Principal Field Service Engineer to manage on-site installation, service and repair of cardiovascular equipment across multiple U.S. locations.
This field-based role requires frequent travel and interaction with doctors, nurses and hospital biomedical engineers to ensure optimal device performance. Under limited supervision, you will support customers, provide technical guidance, complete documentation, and contribute to incident investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field with hospital/field service experience preferred.
- Associate degree with 6 years in Cardiology/Electrophysiology or medical field service.
- Trade certification with 4–6 years of related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support and on-site service within the assigned territory.
- Install, operate, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems.
- Maintain service records and performance data; ensure timely follow‑ups.
- Guide customers including physicians and biomedical engineers; address satisfaction issues.
- Collaborate with field staff and management to improve service delivery.
